Acne Product Ingredients

Step 1: Cleansing

Antibacterial Cleanser:  For most skin types.  Provides extraordinary acne benefits with maximum bacterial control against P. acnes and other undesirable bacteria and their acne promoting lipases.  Blocks the action of 5α- reductase.  (Note:  One percent of the population is allergic to topical cinnamon extract and will develop redness and stinging following use on approximately the second or third day.  If this happens, please advise Skintactix, using the Feedback page.)  5 ounces.  pH 3.6
DIRECTIONS:  Wet the skin with water.  Apply a small amount of cleanser and work into a lather.  Rinse off and dry skin.
INGREDIENTS:  Deionized Water (Aqua), Sodium Olefin C14-16, Sodium Lauroyl Wheat Amino Acids, Glycerin, Salicylic Acid, Triclosan, Cinnamon (Cinnamomum Zeylanicum) Extract, Citric Acid, PEG-120 Methyl Glucose Dioleate, Phenoxyethanol, Methylisothiazolinone.

Septicide Cleanser:  Ideal for rosacea, acne rosacea and dry or sensitive skin types.  Effective bacterial control against P. acnes and other undesirable bacteria and their acne promoting lipases.  Additional anti-inflammatory benefits.  5 ounces.  pH 3.6
DIRECTIONS:  Wet the skin with water.  Apply a small amount of cleanser and work into a lather.  Rise off and dry skin.

Glycolic Cleanser:  For excessively oily skin types, with or without acne.  Keeps follicles clear of cellular debris and has minor antibacterial properties.  5 ounces.  pH 3.7

Step 2: Follicular Exfoliation

Glycolic Exfoliator:  For most skin types.  Maximum power to keep follicles clear.  Effective bacterial control against P. acnes and other undesirable bacteria and their acne-promoting lipases.  Powerful anti-inflammatory benefits. Uses glycolic acid, salicylic acid and plant enzymes to help keep follicles clear and free of infections.  2 ounces.  pH 5.5
DIRECTIONS:  Apply sparingly following cleansing and lightly rub into the skin.  Leave on the skin, do not rinse off.

Step 3: Poultice Action

Green Tea Poultice:  For most skin types.  Poultice action literally pulls infection and developing infection up and out of the skin.  Provides extraordinary acne benefits against P. acne and other undesirable bacteria and their acne promoting lipases.  Blocks the action of 5α-reductase.  Powerful anti-inflammatory benefits.  2 ounces.  pH 3.8
DIRECTIONS:  In the AM apply to all areas that are affected by acne.  Apply very lightly and immediately rub into the skin so the poultice disappears.  Leave on all day, do not rinse off.  In the PM apply slightly more liberally as the poultice does not have to be invisible.  Leave on all night, do not rinse off.  If Poultice rolls or does not penetrate, the prior product(s) was applied to liberally and is creating a barrier.

Specialty Items

Inhibiting Gel:  Powerful aid in treating very severe acne.  Also eliminates herpes simplex.  Strong stimulator of the skin’s immune responses with potent anti-inflammatory action.  2 ounces.   pH 3.9
DIRECTIONS:  For acne apply sparingly in AM and PM following cleansing and before the follicle exfoliator and Green Tea Poultice. For herpes simplex apply 3 times daily for 2-3 days at the first feeling of the cold sore to prevent it from developing.

Blackhead Dissolver:  Dissolves sebum plugs that have developed into blackheads and whiteheads.  Inhibits the development of new plugs.  1 ounce.  pH 3.6
DIRECTIONS:  Apply twice daily to affected areas and lightly rub into the skin.  Apply following cleansing and before all other skin care products.  Once blackheads have dissolved (about 3 weeks) or whiteheads (about 3-4 weeks) reduce usage to once daily to maintain results.

DIRECTIONS:  Apply if and when needed.  Apply following Green Tea/Clay Poultice and prior to sunscreen or make-up if desired.

Sunscreen - High (Chemical Free) - For all skin types.  Uses titanium dioxide and zinc oxide for complete UVA/UVB protection and a 30 SPF, with the addition of green tea.  Chemical free formula is non-photo-reactive giving the product antioxidant protection from secondary free radicals.  Product is non-irritating, non-greasy and eye-friendly.  2.2 ounces.  pH 3.7
DIRECTIONS:  Apply after other skin care products and before make-up.
